SEPTEMBER/MILANO FILM FESTIVAL

Since 2002 Milan has hosted this important festival, which has continued to grow in reknown and importance and has become a significant cinematographic event on the international stage.
The most interesting aspect of this project is that it offers a range of full length and short films selected from among the entire production of films world wide, and selects only films outside the commercial film distribution circuits. These films have never before been seen in Italy and seek to give a voice to everyone without discriminating in any way whatsoever.

JUNE-JULY-AUGUST/LATINO AMERICANDO

For those with a passion for Latin American culture, music, dance and cuisine, Milan hosts an incredibily rich festival with a variety of international guest stars.
This project was born in 1991 out of the desire of a Peruvian couple with Italian heritage to create a bridge of friendship and mutual discovery between Italy and Latin America. It is a very complex event and has had great success. We invite you to visit the site to find out more!

JULY/MILANO JAZZIN FESTIVAL

For several years this jazz music festival has been put on in the charming atmosphere of Milan’s Arena (inside Parco Sempione and its environs). It brings together many international guests and has hosted, just to name a few, Buenavista Social Club, Simple Minds, and Seal. In addition there are many artistic activites and happenings (often free of charge!) that enrich the event.

MILANO DOC FESTIVAL ARCHITECTURE

Since 2007, the Triennale of Milan, in collaboration with the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao, has organized this international festival of documentaries based on architecture and created for both the fans and the scholars of design alike.

FEBRUARY/ COMIC BOOK FESTIVAL

For one weekend in February, at the gates of Milan in the Expostion Hall of Novegro, this festival is dedicated not only to comic books from all over the world, but also to games, videogames and cosplay.

MARCH/LATIN AMERICAN, ASIAN AND AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL

For many years now the city has played host to this film festival dedicated to the countries in the south of the world, with numerous films and video from about 50 countries. The festival is further enriched with many events based on the music and dance of these countries.

Per gli appassionati della cultura, cucina, musica e danze latino americane da molti anni Milano ospita un ricchissimo festival con ospiti internazionali.
Questo progetto è nato nel 1991 dalla volontà di una coppia di peruviani d’origine italiana che volevano creare un ponte di amicizia e conoscenza fra l’Italia e il Latino America. Si tratta di un progetto molto complesso e di grande successo vi invitiamo a visitare il sito.

Da moltissimi anni la città ospita questo festival cinematografico dedicato ai paesi del sud del mondo con circa 50 paesi rappresentati e numerosissimi film e video. Il festival è arricchito di molti altri eventi di musica e danza originarie di questi paesi.
